Airlines and Tour Operators Boosting Greece Programs for 2024
Airlines and tour operators are already adding seats, routes and new destinations to their travel programs for 2024 aiming to meet the growing demand for Greece. On top of that, many travel operators and carriers are even planning to start their programs and services earlier and keep them running into November.
At the same time, travel operators are enhancing their programs with new destinations and packages.
Among others, US airline Delta is boosting its flights from Boston to Athens in 2024. American Airlines is adding flights to Athens from several destinations in its network while Air Canada is extending its flight schedule from Montreal to the Greek capital in the summer.
TUI UK is adding 250,000 seats to its summer 2024 program and adding mainland destinations to its roster. UK carrier Jet2 has announced Lesvos on its destination list for 2024 and boost its flight activity to Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Corfu and Zakynthos. It is reminded that Jet2 will include Athens in its Winter 24/25 City Break program.
Discover Airlines, a Lufthansa airline formerly known as Eurowings Discover, is adding Kalamata and Kefalonia to its extended program out of Munich in 2024. Low-budget carrier easyJet is servicing Corfu from Belfast and Skiathos from Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester airports. Transavia is boosting its connections with Thessaloniki in 2024 from Brussels airport, adding also Heraklion and Zakynthos.
Indicatively, according to media reports, travel Der Touristik Nordic/Apollo specializing in outbound travel in Scandinavian countries, will be offering more than half a million seats to Greece in 2024.
