His mission at Mitsis Hotels has the code name Making Bars Beautiful – Making Beautiful Bars. By cooperating with C. Houseas, we aim to redesign our bars, both structurally and philosophically, to offer to our guests a unique bar experience out of the ordinary. Because actually, the best memories are made when we indulge in what we enjoy the most. So, who doesn’t just love a signature cocktail or a sophisticated drink while being on holidays? Of course, the question is rhetorical.
Hospitality entrepreneur, developer, consultant and director just to name a few aspects of his personality. Founder and until recently owner of the cocktail bar 42 in the centre of Athens, has spent most of his life behind the most famous Athenian bars, co-founding in 2009 Baba Au Rum, establishing what is now known as the new era of the Greek bartending.
Being on a constant research of the senses and the brain’s interpretation of hospitality experiences, design, lighting, psychology, flavor and aroma, the details and the “invisible” factors, Mitsis Hotels together with Chris Houseas, crave to shape the appreciation and the memory of a visit to our bars, restaurants and hotels, delivering high quality culinary and bar sessions to each one of our guests!
A nomad in heart, he appreciates and enjoys every moment of traveling and working at the same time, and the diverseness of his current role. A guest experience and bar curator involved into innovative and sustainable projects from concept to realization, and from designing, implementing and evaluating, to supporting, motivating, mentoring and training professionals at Mitsis Hotels.
