The Underwater Cave of Elephants will definitely leave you speechless. It took its name after the petrified elephant bones that are still visible on the sea floor. North of Agia Marina, near the islet of Agioi Theodoroi, you will also be able to see a sunken German Junkers 52 aircraft, that was shot down during World War II.
For the Stand-Up Paddleboard, Windsurfing or Kite surfing lovers, the beaches near Chania have the perfect conditions and all the necessary equipment, with Agia Marina, Falasarna and Elafonisi being on top of the list!
On the luxurious side, you may go on a daily sailing cruise and explore some of the most famous remote beaches, such as Balos, Preveli and Agia Roumeli or take a cruise trip to the islands of Chrissi, Gavdos, Dia and Koufonisi Lasithiou.
At the organized beaches you will be able to try out water skiing, pedaling, aqua-board, jet skiing and parasailing, while beach volley and beach soccer courts are offered as well.
