Crete could not be missing from that list, as every year it ranks in one of the highest places.

In 2017, it was number 6, in 2018 number 5 and this year number 4, right after London, Paris and Rome. Crete’s popularity relies on all the things a visitor may see & do during a vacation, including the traditional small villages, the ideal beaches, the numerous archaeological sites and the picturesque alleys. If you add the locals’ warm hospitality and the famous Cretan cuisine, the Greek island’s continuous recognition should be rather expected.

The results are being determined with the use of an algorithm, which takes into consideration data gathered over a 12-month period, as well as the booking interest.
