FEBRUARY FOR SURFERS
Have fun surfing your face off!
Hanalei Pier, Kauai, Hawaii
The city of Hanalei is situated in the stunning bay of the same name, is found in the north coast of Kauai, surrounded by several surf spots. For beginners we highlight the port of Hanalei. All the beaches in Kauai are public. Including those that are privatized by a hotel can be accessed through public walkways.
The East Coast Bali
Australia
Get your bathers ready! European winter means summer in Australia. Australian summer means cyclone and storm season that results in a great swell. Some of the world’s best surf spots and surfers can be found in this wild and beautiful country. The country is enormous and for the surfing, we recommend hiring a car and to head to New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria – all levels and tastes served. The spots will be busy since surfing is the unofficial national sport in Australia and summer means locals are having their holidays.
Finally, the last destination for our February surf trip recommendations is Surfer´s Point in Barbados. Idyllic place for starting to learn surfing. Warm water, spectacular scenery and a fun left. Surfer´s Point also offers the perfect conditions to practice other aquatic sports like windsurf, kite surf or kayaking.
