Ebonas Winecellar is a small family business, located in Ebonas village, 52km away from Rhodes town. Extended vineyards surround the village which is famous for the excellent quality of its wine, mainly produced at small local family wineries.
Piperis Winery
The passion to produce and the love for good wines together with what earth can offer to a table of friends, were the main reasons that led Piperis family to build this model and traditional winery located on the Island of Rhodes in Apollona village, in a beautiful natural landscape.
Kounaki Winery was founded in 1928 and produces small quantities of wine every year. Has 40 acres of vineyard producing up to 1000kg per acre. Cultivates Greek varieties such Athiri , Malagouzia, Muscat, Assyrtiko, and Amorgiano but also European varieties such as Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, Tebranillo.
Alexandris winery
Alexandris Family Winery is situated at the village of Embona, on the slopes of mount Ataviros, the heart of the wine region of Rhodes, in southern Greece. The winery was established in 1968 cultivating organically their 4 hectares that are based on Athiri. Athiri is a rather neutral white Greek variety that in Rhodos can be elevated to different standards.
Emery winery
Since 1923, when Oinotheque Emery was created, the grape’s cultivation procedure, the must process and the vinification methods have evolved in many ways. The respect for quality, tradition and values have remained constant and have led the way to the third generation of the Triantafillou family, opening tasty pursuits and new horizons.
