How did the journey begin? He enrolled gymnastics when we was only 5 years old at the Panionios Gymnastics Club in Greece. A teacher encouraged his mother to enrol him in the sport in order to deal with his hyperactivity.
Gymnastics really took over his life as he admits, although at the age of 14, he took a 3 years break from the sport due to physical and emotional fatigue. Being a good athlete and simultaneously a good student is not easily achieved he marks.
Of course, the journey wasn’t meant to end there.
In brief, he is a young promising athlete and he has a lot to offer!
He holds the titles of the 2017 Olympic Champion, the 2016 and 2015 World Champion, and a four-time 2011/2015-17 European Medallist on the still rings. Moreover, he was named the Greek Sportsman of the Year in 2015, 2016 and 2017 by the Panhellenic Association of Sports Press.
