Crete Half Marathon
The Half Marathon, including 10 km, 5 km and 1 km races, is an international event open to all and a unique opportunity for runners from Greece and abroad to participate in an ideal course. It will be a circle race in the center of Crete passing across some of the most picturesque villages of the municipality Minoa Pediadas and through olive groves and vineyards. It is going to take place on Sunday, 6th October 2019 at Arkalochori.
Hidden Reef Boat Party
A weekend edition Boat journey will start to discover for the first time a hidden reef on a secret island in Greece. A boat that will departure from the harbor of Kos island on October 12, to explore a unique beach location and inspire us with different music genres.
The Historica in Rhodes
Historica is not simple a cycling race, It is an opportunity to meet new cycling friends and visit historic sites and experience different cultures around the world. The event will recreate the experience of cycling in the ’80s, ’70s, ’60s and before and also make new memories of the beauty and history of the island of Rhodes. It is for people who want to acquaint themselves with Rhodian culture in this unique way. It will take place from October 10 to 13.
Stamatis Spanoudakis at the Odeon
Legendary classical composer Stamatis Spanoudakis will perform and lead a string orchestra and choir in a singular concert at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus on October 1. Throughout his career, Spanoudakis has recorded more than 60 albums and written numerous hit songs for film and major Greek singers. His music often fuses together rock, classical and byzantine styles. Proceeds from the performance will go towards children’s institutions of the Holy Metropolis of Singapore and South Asia. 1,000 children will be educated, accommodated and medically treated in Medan, Indonesia, where the Holy Metropolis operates 5 schools (kindergarten, elementary school, high school, high school, polytechnic school), boarding school and hospital.
