Cirque du Soleil ‘Bazaar’ in Athens
Cirque du Soleil’s 43rd production, Bazzar, was inspired by the colorful and chaotic grand Indian bazaar. With 31 artistes and 62 permanent people, Bazaar is like a small village – an eclectic lab of infinite creativity, where a joyful troupe of acrobats, dancers and musicians, led by their maestro, craft an awe-inspiring spectacle that will captivate audiences of all ages. Step inside the big top to a whimsical universe from July 18 to August 4.
Honey Festival in Kos
The Honey Festival takes place in Antimachia Village, on the first Saturday following the Feast of the Assumption (August 15th), where honey-based sweets are shared and visitors can purchase the famous locally-produced honey. The festivities would not be complete without music and dance performances by local adult and children’s groups.
Wine Festival in Kos
The Wine Festival takes place in Mastichari Village during the first week of August.
Locals are proud of the high-quality wine they produce and celebrate by offering to all visitors free wine and local tidbits.
