MITSIS HOTELS STANDS BY THE SOCIETY
The 6.2 magnitude earthquake that struck central Greece near the central town of Larissa in March, caused serious damages to public and municipal buildings and houses. According to the mayor of Elassona, more than 400 people have lost their homes and properties. Rescue teams hurried to extract people from the rubble of buildings, and as strong aftershocks shook the region, residents were advised to remain outdoors.
Mitsis Hotels Group rushed to provide help by shipping to Thessaly 32 mattresses and 32 beds from the reserved hotel supplies, as well as blankets, sheets and pillows that have not being used by the hotels.
