ON THE MARCH..
Balance
Find a balance between the internal and external elements of your life. Learn to challenge yourself intellectually while making sure to always create opportunities for your mind to rest.
Nurture, drink and exercise properly but always remember to treat yourself and indulge in what you enjoy the most. It’s important to push yourself, set goals and achieve them but it is also significant to see the bigger picture and enjoy the ride to success.
Health
It defines your physical, mental and social wellbeing. Good health is central to handling stress and living a long and active life. It refers not only to the absence of disease, but the ability to recover and bounce back from illness and other problems. The best way to maintain health is to preserve it through a healthful lifestyle, rather than waiting until we are sick to put things right.
Acknowledging and embracing your imperfections will make you more confident and stronger. Learn to view challenges as opportunities. Try different learning tactics as there’s no one-size-fits-all model for learning. What works for one person may not work for you. Replace the word “failing” with the word “learning.” When you make a mistake or fall short of a goal, you haven’t failed; you’ve learned. Take risks, think realistically about time and effort and make a new goal for every goal accomplished. Last but surely not least, learn to share and celebrate your growth with others.
