PRETTY FLOWER CRAFTS AT HOME
DIY: Step by Step Guide
What you will need to make it, are natural flowers (roses, carnations, daisies, anemones, violets and whatever else you can find) as well as greenery (ferns, ivy, pine, fir).
In addition to flowers and greenery, you will need some flexible wicker twigs or vines that you will use to make the base of the wreath. If you still cannot find such branches or you don’t have the mood and appetite to look for them, you can use thick but flexible wire.
You will also need a thin twine and a floral metal wire. If you finally want to make your wreath even more beautiful, you can get some ribbons.
After making your base by knitting your branches together and creating a circular base, start tying the bunches with your greenery on the base. Cut off the excess stalks and fill in the gaps created with flower bunches.
In the same way, slowly cover the entire base. Immediately after, continue putting small flowers and flowers to fill your wreath before placing the larger ones on top. The more you put, the more beautiful and richer your wreath will be.
Complete your creation with large flowers (for example roses). When you are done, you can make a loop with a little string so you can hang it on your door.
To make your wreath even faster and for your children to be able to participate in the whole process, you can get ready-made circular styrofoam bases. On them, you nail the flowers you have collected, and your wreath will be ready much faster.
