SAFE CORRIDOR: THE FIRST PILOT HOLIDAY PROGRAMME COMPLETED AT GRAND HOTEL
Aiming to collect data on safe and responsible travel during the pandemic, ‘Safe Corridor’ was carried out with detailed health & safety protocols that included PCR tests 72 hours and Rapid tests 4 hours prior arrival to and before departure from Greece, which were all negative. All guests will take a new PCR test 5 days upon returning to the Netherlands. Respectively, the hotel staff underwent a PCR test by EODY before the start and at the end of the program. To ensure the success of the project, all guests and direct contact staff remained exclusively within the hotel premises, enjoying the specially designed entertainment program and dining in the hotel’s open-space restaurants and bars.
All 188 visitors left yesterday for their homeland, excited by the Greek hospitality and the excellent services, assuring that they will return to our beautiful country for their summer holidays. The program received a warm welcome and sincere support from all competent authorities, which contributed to its successful implementation, while its results and valuable data are expected to be publicly announced soon to offer a positive perspective on travel.
