THE BLUEST PLACES ON EARTH
Maldives
You won’t be surprised that the Maldives is undoubtedly a favorite among newlyweds looking for a little peace and quiet in paradise after a busy wedding. For extra seclusion, stay in a private villa directly on the water. The Maldives is also among the many romantic destinations we suggest for couples who just want to get away.
Egremni Beach, Zakynthos, Greece
Egremni is the most beautiful beach not only on the Greek island of Zakynthos but the entire Mediterranean Sea. It is surrounded by steep limestone cliffs, overgrown with bushes. A breathtaking view opens up from the top of the cliffs with crystal clear turquoise waters and a milky white beach studded with fine pebbles.
If you love blue objects, blue skies or the deep blue seas, the Crater Lake in America is a must-visit destination. Located in Southern Oregon, Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the USA with a depth of 1943 feet. The sunlight can extend 400 feet down. There are no incoming rivers or streams that can make the water turbid which gives the water a clear appearance.
Blue Lagoon, Iceland
The milky blue color of Iceland’s most famous hot springs comes from its high silica content. The warm waters are rich in other minerals, too. Bathing in them is reputed to help some people suffering from skin diseases such as psoriasis. It is also extremely relaxing to swim in, with the water temperature a soothing 37°C.
