TREE PLANTINGS KIDS CLUBS
As part of our comprehensive CSR programme ‘A story of change,’ and in line with our dedicated environmental pillar ‘Concerned about the planet,’ we are delighted to introduce an exciting addition to our offerings – tree planting and plant name-giving initiatives for our young guests, available at our hotels’ Kids Clubs! These engaging activities serve as a remarkable platform for children to delve deeper into the realms of biodiversity and environmental protection, while also allowing them to leave an indelible mark by giving their name to a locally grown plant!
We aim to cultivate a deep appreciation for the intricate web of life and inspire them to become stewards of the Earth.
We are proud to provide these opportunities for growth, learning, and engagement as we collectively strive toward a greener, more sustainable tomorrow.
At Mitsis Hotels, we firmly believe that fostering a sense of environmental stewardship among the younger generation is paramount for a sustainable future. Through our tree planting initiatives, children will have the opportunity to actively participate in reforestation efforts, witnessing the transformative power of their actions firsthand. Armed with shovels, saplings, and an eagerness to make a difference, our young guests will embark on an unforgettable journey as they plant trees in designated areas surrounding our hotels.
Furthermore, our unique plant name-giving activities aim to spark a deep-rooted connection between children and the natural world. As they encounter various plant species indigenous to the region, they will be encouraged to choose a plant and bestow it with a name of their own, forever associating their identity with the flourishing greenery that will grace our surroundings. This personal connection with nature nurtures a sense of responsibility and a commitment to preserving the planet for future generations.
By combining education, exploration, and hands-on experiences, our tree planting and plant name-giving initiatives serve as powerful tools in shaping the environmental consciousness of our young guests.
