At times like these, while we are forced to be apart, our shared humanity and acts of kindness all over the world have never been more evident. Moments of victory, care, and love continue to fill our hearts and light up our spirit, heading us to brighter days! We may be apart, but there is no need for anybody to be alone.

 

No matter how different we may be. No matter how diverse our journeys may be. No matter how our profession may vary.

 

The most important things we relearned are trust, respect and that everyone’s effort is essential to achieve a common goal. This period of self-isolation provided a unique opportunity to step back and redefine what matters most. We focused on our personal needs, we took care of the elderly, we spent quality time with our family, we extended our appreciation to the healthcare community, we showed our Personal Social Responsibility in practice, we reconnected and we discovered our best selves.

Τo calm fears, share laughter and hope – or just to hear familiar voices – we find ourselves constantly reaching out to each other. Our new “from-home” reality is filled with digital conversations, interactive virtual meetings and each day ends with the emotional charge of shared, city-wide applause for our front-line heroes.
