WHERE TO GO ON HOLIDAY IN AUTUMN
Santorini is a popular island off the coast of Greece. It’s famous for its beautiful sunsets and picturesque architecture. As you can expect, this destination is extremely popular during the summer months, so head here early autumn for a quieter and more peaceful scene.
Vienna is one of Europe’s most stunning cities and is often voted one of the best cities to live in. As well as this it’s also a great place to visit and when visiting you’ll find plenty of autumnal treasures. Such as Schönbrunn Park with its wonderful tree tunnels, Kahlenberg with vineyards overlooking the city, as well as many other wonderful outdoor spaces.
With its insular 40°C weather, summer in Seville is best spent at the nearby beaches like Matalascañas – but plan your trip a month or two later and you’ll hit the sweet spot. The streets smell of orange blossom, the shaded plazas are filled with locals drinking chilled beer and snacking on tapas, and the nights are long and balmy.

The colourful architecture of Russia is accentuated by the orange, yellow and red hues of the autumn leaves. The temperature doesn’t drop too much either – expect highs of 15°C and lows of around 8°C.
London, United Kingdom
You can see London at its most beautiful from September to November. The parks and gardens bost autumn foliage that is a sight to behold. The locals soak up the last bit of sun or settle in late afternoon for some tea and hot scones. With a high of 19°C and low of 6°C, it’s a great time to discover The Big Smoke before winter well and truly arrives.
