CREATE YOUR OWN TUNA TATAKI!
While staying at home, there is nothing better than cooking with your loved ones and taste new flavors and delicious dishes.
Everybody loves Pan-Asian cuisine and this tuna tataki recipe requires less than 10 minutes to be prepared.
Ingredients
2 spring onions
4 radishes, sliced
Handful of pea shoots (or bean sprouts)
4 stems coriander, leaves coarsely chopped
½ lime
Olive oil
2 tbsp mayonnaise
½ tbsp (salty) soya sauce
Some lettuce leaves
Some cherry tomatoes
180g tuna
For the salad
- Cut the spring onions in half lengthwise and then cut these halves into pieces 3-4 centimetres in length.
- In a bowl, mix the pieces of onion with the sliced radish, pea shoots or bean sprouts and the coriander. Then mix with the olive oil and half a lime’s worth of juice.
- Add the mayonnaise and soya sauce and set the salad aside.
For Tuna
- Cut the tuna into cube slices
- Season the tuna slices with salt and pepper on four long sides.
- Set an ungreased frying pan over medium heat. Heat the oil and as soon as it gets hot, sear the tuna 30 seconds on each of its four sides.
Method
- Arrange the tuna slices all around the plate. Place among them, the lettuce leaves, then the sliced cherry tomatoes and the remained radish, sliced into thin pieces.
- Complete the plate placing the salad in the middle of the plate.
Tuna tataki is ready to enjoy! Good appetite!
